Here is a little info about Kalin’s Center Online Auction

Asset Marketing Pros is very proud to continue to be a part of raising funds for this awesome non-profit organization with Kalin’s Center Online Auction event. We appreciate the special work they accomplish by giving a voice to the victims of child abuse. They service both Trinity and Houston Counties for abused children.

Kalin’s Center has a special place in our hearts. We are attempting to help them with their fundraising efforts this year will an extra online-only option for their event. Even if you do not see an item that you would like to bid on you can still give your donation to this amazing group. Learn how by reading the information in lot #3.

What is Kalin’s Center?

The Kalin’s Center is a non-profit organization that started in 2001. At the Kalin’s Center they provide a safe and child-friendly environment for abused children to tell their story.

They provide services to child victims up to the age of 18 years for sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. They provide children of neglect and child witnesses of crimes a voice. According to the Darkness 2 Light Child Abuse Prevention and Non-Profit Organization, “Experts estimate that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused before their 18th birthdays. This means that in any classroom or neighborhood full of children, there are children who are silently bearing the burden of sexual abuse.”

As to the statistics of our local area, according to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services 2009 Data Book – there were 181 cases of abuse reported to Child Protective Services in Houston County and 162 cases reported in Trinity County. CPS is just one of the many partner agencies we work with directly. These statistics show that child abuse is a relevant and current problem in Houston and Trinity Counties.

Kalin’s Center corporation is not organized for profit, but solely to develop funds to provide benefits and services to persons eighteen (18) years of age or younger and their families in recovering from victimization and traumatic criminal acts. Learn more about Kalin’s Center

How will payment for my donation be made?

Asset Marketing Pros, LLC will use your credit card listed on your registration for this auction to collect the payment as soon as the auction ends.
You will receive a paid invoice by email after the auction closes for your records.
No tax will be collected for this auction as Kalin’s Center is a nonprofit organization.
A 5% Buyers Premium will be added to all invoices and donation invoices to cover the cost. SO 100% of your bid amount will go directly to Kalin’s Center. They will use your donation to continue to serve Houston and Trinity Counties Abused Children. Your funds will support them as they continue to counsel child abuse victims until they are eighteen years old.
